Office Communicator
If you are in a state school and use edumail you can download and install Office Communicator for instant messaging. Your computer technician should be able to help you do this. Once installed you can search and send messages to anyone in the edumail global address list so long as they are connected too. If they are you will see a coloured circle (instead of a grey one) next to their name - Green means available. If you do try this out send Heather a message!
Screen Capture
Jing is easily downloaded and then always ready to capture your screen either as an image or a video. You can add highlights and text to images and narration to video.
Voki
